Theresa Gibbons is the Director of Asset Building Programs at Heartland Alliance and has been working in the asset development field for 12 years.
Prior to this, she worked in tenants’ rights and job training in Chicago and San Francisco. Theresa is a leading expert of asset building in Chicago and serves on the Illinois Asset Building Group’s Leadership Circle. She contributes to regional and national conversations on best practices in asset building and is currently one of four subject matter experts advising the national organization, Prosperity Now, on a Design Guide for Best Practices in Financial Coaching.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Math from the University of Notre Dame.
