How do I get into DC?
The Silver Line Express goes to the Wiehle-Reston East Station on Metro’s Silver Line and departs from the top of the ramp at Arrival Door 4.

- Service every 15-20 minutes
Metrobus 5A goes to Rosslyn Station on Metro’s Blue, Sliver, and Orange Lines and continues to L’Enfant Plaza Station on the Yellow and Green Lines.
- $7.50 exact change or SmarTrip card
- Go to wmata.com and enter Stop 5002017 for the time of the next bus.
Fairfax Connector Bus 981/983 goes to the Wiehle-Reston East Station on Metro’s Silver Line.

Where do I meet my Uber, Lyft, or Via ride?
Go down the center ramp at Arrival Door 2, 4, or 6. Once outside, cross two roadways to Curb 3 and look for the signs for the specific stop (e.g., 3C, 3D, etc.) you selected.
Where do I get a taxi?
Go down the center ramp at Arrival Door 2 or 6. The taxi dispatcher is to the left at Door 2, or to the right at Door 6.
My hotel shuttle is at “2G.” Where is that?
Go down the center ramp at Arrival Door 6. Once outside, cross to the covered sidewalk. Curb 2G for “Hotel Shuttles” is to the right. Most hotel shuttles are by request; call your hotel to request a pick-up. Telephones near the restrooms are free to use.
Where do I get my rental car?
Go down the center ramp at Arrival Door 2 or 4. Once outside, cross to the covered sidewalk. Car rental company shuttle busses run continually and stop at Curbs 2C and 2D for the short trip to their nearby facilities.
How do I get to the pedestrian tunnel to Parking Garage 1?
Go down the center ramp at Arrival Door 2 or 6. Just before going outside, take the corridor to the right at Door 2, or to the left at Door 6.
Where do I pay for parking? How can I get help with parking?
Pay for your parking with cash or a credit card in the appropriately marked lane as you leave the parking lot or garage. Call 703-572-4500 for parking assistance 24×7 (e.g., locating your car, for a jump start, or help with a flat tire).
Are there lockers available for rent?
There are no lockers available anywhere in the airport for rent. Unattended luggage will be searched by police and may be confiscated or destroyed.
Please contact your airline to see if they will accept your checked baggage earlier than their suggested check-in time.
Some local hotels may also offer daily rates for a room to keep your luggage.
I have a departing flight. Where do I go?
All airline check-in counters and the entrances to the security checkpoints for all gates are on the upper (departure) level. Use the escalators between baggage claims 4 & 5 or 12 & 13, or the elevators behind baggage claim 4, 8, or 13. Airline directory maps and departing flight information displays are near the top of the escalators.
Where can I shop or buy something to eat or drink?
Visit here for the most up-to-date information on shops and food outlets that are open in the Main Terminal (pre-security) and the concourses (post-security).
What can I do during a layover?
Take the 983 bus to the Udvar Smithsonian Museum for $2. Medium sized lockers are available to store your luggage.
Is there a shuttle between Dulles and Reagan Airport?
There is no shuttle between Dulles and Reagan (DCA) Airport. There are multiple ways to travel:
Take the Metro Bus 5A and transfer to the blue line, which stops at DCA.
Take the Silver Line Express bus to the Silver Reston Metro stop and transfer to the blue line, which stops at DCA.
How do I get to BWI?
All public transportation between BWI and IAD involves multiple transfers and will be easier to accomplish on a weekday. Please visit an information desk for assistance with trip planning.
